A Lesson of Life, by a child!
Sometimes children's replies can surprise us.
The children have keen observation skills and often speak like elders. They talk about life as if they had lived it.
Sometimes their answers can make you wonder whether they have knowledge and experience of previous births.
The monk showed a video recording at a children's camp. In that video, a dog is lying in the middle of the railway track, unable to get up after it met with an accident. Its 'friend dog' is struggling to move the injured dog but is unable to do it.
Finally, it decides to stay with it. As and when the trains pass by, the two dogs were saving themselves by lying low. At last, some people rescued them.
Then the monk questioned the children, “What did you learn from this video?”
Many of the answers were about helping nature, friendship, etc.,
But a 9-year-old girl named Yazhnila, stunned everyone with her reply. What did she say?
"Dogs have only five senses. It did not complicate things by thinking or planning too much. But a man with his 6th sense, just thinks and rehearse the happenings in his mind itself and always calculate the pros and cons of the situation and what benefits or 'punyam' that he will gain… but in the end, will do nothing”, this was her shocking answer.
Yes, animals help spontaneously, but man finds pleasure in his imaginary world itself.
In a way, Yazhnila is correct, what she said is also a fact of life, Isn’t it?
