Excellence in Seconds - 5

A devotee shared his problems and difficulties with the Monk today. 

♦ His daughter is separated from her husband and lives alone.

♦ She suffers from inferiority complex and blames others for her problems and cries in isolation. 

♦ Due to her self-created restlessness, she unknowingly spoils the peace of others.

♦ She thinks foolishly that her parents are responsible for her suffering. 

♦ The lack of harmony with her parents, has added to her emotional imbalance, stress, and arrogance. 

♦ She goes to work on a meagre salary to overcome her loneliness. She claims:  Shall live alone; achieve and succeed.

♦ Her stress has taken a toll on her body, and she became fat.

♦ To prove that she lives alone in a rented house with her child. 

♦ She has mortgaged the jewellery at higher interest rates; to pay house rent and to augment the amenities. 

The monk understood that she is not in the position to listen to anyone's advice. The monk prayed to Holy Mother Sri Sarada for the welfare of this father and the daughter. He gave courage to his father. Then he wrote in his diary: 

♦ Egoism is quite expensive. It is a waste of time and energy. Nowadays, it wastes money also.

♦ Arrogance will kill one's own relationships. It shatters the love of parents. 

With the blessings of Mother Sarada, soon she will come out of these troubles. Then I must share her problems, explain to her the ways to address them and help her get rid of them. Hope the mother will get it done through me.
