Attention Vs Tension
HARI Vs HURRY
- Swami Vimurtananda
A monk was traveling in a car with a devotee, Anand. Looking outside he was observing people, who were moving around hastily on the roads.
Anand: “What are you thinking, Swamiji?”
Monk: “Thinking if I can define and differentiate between worldly life and spiritual life in one sentence”. Anand became curious for the response.
Monk: “If one always have tension, is in HURRY, lives without any goal - pursues worldly life; but if one pays attention to be always with divine HARI with great goals leads spiritual life”.
Anand applied a sudden brake as a symbolic appreciation of the monk’s response!
