Discussions were underway to set up a mini forest with plants and trees at the monastery.
There is no immediate need to employ persons to water the plants after planting; Drip irrigation is enough, said one.
Among various opinions, the monk noted down the tested experience of Sri. Rajulu, an experienced forest officer.
Monk: Let the plants grow well for some time. Apply drip irrigation after the roots are well spread. If the roots of the plants do not go in search of water, they become lazy and addicted to comfort with the water available. It is only when roots fight for water that the plant takes its roots deep and wide, becoming a large tree with time.
Excellence in Seconds: Without the quest for knowledge and hard work in life, not only humans, but also plants will have to degenerate into lifeless creatures.
