சடையப்ப வள்ளலின் ஆதரவுடன் கம்பர் ராமாயணம் பாடினார். அப்படி பாடப்பட்ட இடம் தஞ்சை மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள கதிராமங்கலம். அங்குள்ள அரசு உயர்நிலை பள்ளி மாணவ மாணவர்களுக்கு ஸ்ரீராமரின் மகிமை பற்றி ராமநவமி நாளில் சுவாமி விமூர்த்தானந்தர் உரையாற்றினார்.

Kambar composed the Ramayana with the support of Sadayappa Vallal. The place where it was sung is Katiramangalam in Thanjavur district. Swami Vimurtananda addressed the students of the Government High School there on the glory of Lord Rama on Ramnavami.
